Do you love candles, creativity, and spreading joy? Ready to bring some serious vibes to our candle-making workshops? Hazel & Blue Candles is looking for a fun, passionate, and enthusiastic Sensorist (candle making workshop leader) to lead our candle-making experiences. This is not your average job – we’re looking for someone who can teach, inspire, and bring pizzazz to every workshop while helping our guests create beautiful candles and memories! 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Host Candle Making Workshops: You’ll be the heart and soul of our workshops—guiding guests through a fun and educational candle-making process. Whether it’s a hen party, corporate event, or a friends’ get-together, you’ll make every session unforgettable! 
  • Be Our Brand’s Superstar: You’ll not just represent Hazel & Blue—you’ll be Hazel & Blue! Bring your passion for candles, scents, and creativity, while encouraging guests to explore our full product range. (Yes, upselling is part of the job!) 
  • Be the Life of the Party: Infuse every workshop with energy, fun, and professionalism. From laughter to learning, your role is to keep things lively and engaging, all while staying on-brand. 
  • Health & Safety Boss: Keep an eye on health and safety guidelines, ensuring every workshop is a smooth and safe experience for all. 
  • Organisational Guru: Plan, prep, and execute workshops like a pro. From setting up to cleaning up, you’ll keep things organised and running like clockwork. 
  • Social Media Maven: We want you to shine on socials! A good social media presence is a must. Share workshop highlights, promote upcoming events, and spread the candle-making love across your channels. 
  • On-the-Road Expert: You’ll start locally, but as we grow, we’ll need you to travel across the UK (possibly even further a field, its down to you to make thoe travel dreams a reality) to host workshops. Flexibility and a love of adventure are essential. 
  • Physical Ready: Be prepared to handle the manual side of things—transporting materials, setting up workshops, and working on your feet. Strength, stamina, and a love for teamwork will come in handy. But bear in  mind, a lot of the heavy lifting will be down to you day to day.

  • Natural Teacher: You know how to make learning fun and engaging, and you have the patience to guide groups of all sizes and skill levels. 
  • Sales Superstar: Confident in promoting and selling our beautiful range of candles and kits during workshops. 
  • Social Media Savvy: You’ve got a strong social media presence and love sharing cool moments with your followers. Promoting our events on your socials will be key to ramping things up. 
  • Health & Safety Conscious: You’re on top of the important stuff—like making sure everyone is safe and having a great time. 
  • On-the-Ball Organiser: Punctual, reliable, and always prepared—you know how to keep things organised and running smoothly. 
  • Flexible & Adventurous: You’re happy to start with local events, but ready to travel the length and breadth of the UK as our workshops grow. 
  • Manual Handling Capable: You’re physically capable of handling workshop materials and setting up events. 
  • Candle Enthusiast: You love candles, scents, and all things that smell incredible!
